Kali Hart is Talbott Vineyards' second label. Hardly a second in taste, its pedigree is the famous Sleepy Hollow Vineyard in the Santa Lucia Highlands of Monterey County, Calif. Talbott chardonnays are world renowned, so to get juice from these vineyards at an affordable price is a steal. This wine is layered with apple, pear and light oak spice. The mouth feel is bracing and balanced, with juicy bright fruits running from apple-pear to citrus. Lengthy and complex, it satisfies on so many levels. Perfect with any roasted bird you can imagine. Costs about $18.
