TRENTON — Gov. Chris Christie will travel to California to speak at the Ronald Reagan Library at the end of the next month.

Christie will give a speech for a "Perspectives on Leadership Forum" on September 27, according to the library's website.

The Simi Valley, Calif. library is a popular speaking engagement for Republicans with national ambitions.

The governor now has three out of state appearances planned in the course of a month. Christie will travel next week to Mississippi to headline a fundraiser with Gov. Haley Barbour and raise money for their state party. He will also appear in Louisiana with Gov. Bobby Jindal for a fundraiser and rally on September 29.

Christie was in Chicago this week for an event with the Republican Governors Association, a fundraising group that backs GOP candidates to win statehouses.
