Amanda Holden digs her claws into Kelly Brook: 'Alesha will do better’ on day true story
Kelly Brook, 32, who was famously axed from the Britain's Got Talent panel in 2009 after just two days on the show has come under fire from long serving BGT judge Amanda Holden.
At the time critics labelled Kelly 'wooden' while the remaining judges remained schtum, all except Simon who said:"It's become clear the format doesn't support another judge and we will never add a fourth judge to the panel."
Amanda, 40, one of the longest serving judges on the show believes new judge Alesha Dixon, 33, will last longer on the show. She said, "She'll do better than Kelly…she's got a brain." The reality star judge then continued, "You'll have to talk to Simon about Alesha, he booked her, but I think she's probably got something else – a brain."
Amanda Holden will now judge BGT with fellow judges Simon Cowell who has returned to the show following the launch of X Factor USA, and newbies David Walliams and Alesha Dixon.
Comedian David Walliams also made a jibe at Kelly's expense: "When Kelly did the show, she asked Ant and Dec what they did on it. I have seen the show, so I haven't made that mistake."
According to reports Simon says he has learnt from the experience with Kelly, "I think it was a whole different situation because we didn't tell anyone, not even the other judges and Ant and Dec didn't know."
Seeing as Alesha Dixon left her seat on the Strictly Come Dancing Panel lets hope she lasts more than 2 days...or someone will be eating humble pie.
