CHESTERTON | The Duneland Performing Arts series has announced its calendar of events for the 2012 season, which will bring high-quality artistic events to the Chesterton High School stage.
The Duneland Performing Arts Series will kick off its season on Feb. 1 with a performance by Ball State University's "The Ball State Singers." The performance will take place at 7 p.m. in the CHS Auditorium and will include opening performances by Chesterton High School's Drifters and Sandpipers show choirs. Ticket prices are $15 for general admission, and $8 for Duneland students and senior citizens.
On Feb. 17, the DPAS will welcome back Indiana University's Straight No Chaser, a 10-member men's a cappella vocal group founded in 1996. The Puffins, a folk rock band out of Chicago, Illinois will serve as the opening act.
Tickets for these events are available now online at www.chestertonchoirs.org/dpas, and may also be purchased at Chesterton's Red Cup Café or the CHS Main Office.
