Beowulf Mining has appointed a technical consulting firm to advance its Kallak project in northern Sweden.
Beowulf Mining said that Micon International has provided services to the international mining industry for more than 20 years.
It will review existing drill data and recommend future drilling, focusing on extending the limits of the deposits Kallak North and Kallak South and define additional inferred resources.
Among other work, it will develop a program of definition drilling so that the resource can be upgraded from the JORC inferred category into the higher indicated level.
Micon will also analyze operating parameters and costs in order to facilitate a pit analysis of a preliminary Kallak North block model, said Beowulf.
Beowulf Mining's executive chairman Mr Clive Sinclair-Poulton said that "We are delighted to announce the appointment of Micon to provide technical consultancy services to Beowulf Mining AB. Their extensive international expertise will assist us in the continued development of our Kallak project, as we seek to combine further definition of the project's estimated resource with the commencement of an initial design plan for an open pit mine, comprising our short and medium-term objectives for this exciting asset."
