Juliet's âMy First Hardcore Songâ on YouTube Blows Away Rebecca Black (VIDEO) on day true story
An adorable 8-year-old rocker named Juliet has quickly become a YouTube sensation with "My First Hardcore Song." The small Aussie rocker is on her way to blowing away Rebecca Black as an overnight YouTube hit with more than 8 million views at the time of press.
Juliet is only 8 years old and she's taking the world by storm with her YouTube video, "My First Hardcore Song." The cute rocker from Australia sings about everyday childhood events such as her dog and fish with a hardcore rock edge.
In 2011, Rebecca Black become a YouTube sensation with her vanity video "Friday." A young teen, Black sang about routine teenage experiences such as partying on Friday and waking up early in the morning. Juliet is a contender to blow away Rebecca Black as an overnight YouTube sensation for 2012.
Juliet's "My First Hardcore" song has over 8 million views on YouTube at the time of press. The video was just posted on January 19, 2012. Clearly, Juliet has quickly become a hit with her heavy metal sound.
Fans on YouTube are already showing their support for wee rocker Juliet. Nyancat856 said, "Coolest 7 year old ever!!!!!!!" According to MUTEGIO36, "This has to be the more adorable thing I've ever seen, hahaha."
The video clip was posted by Julie's mother, Kristina Childs. She never anticipated the reaction to her little head banger.
Childs told the New York Daily News, "Within an hour of posting the song, I just started getting thousands of emails. I was like what is this?"
The video used a track that was recorded for fun by a family friend. The friend, Rob Sharpe, also happens to be a record producer. While it wasn't paid for like Rebecca Black's video "Friday," a professional was on the scene.
The video recording happened at Brisbane park was only intended for family. This sounds quite a bit like the posting of Justin Bieber videos by his mother, who never imagined at the time what a star her son would become.
After the requests for the song started pouring in, savvy record producer Sharpe decided to convert the track for sale. The song is now available on iTunes, along with t-shirts. Sharpe said, "We didn't want it to be pirated, we just preferred if they could hear the real one."
Posting videos on YouTube is often a way to become a fast star. Another example is the popular comedic character Fred.
Childs said, "If I'm guilty of anything, it's playing too much music for it. When she was a baby, she wouldn't go to sleep unless we would play Marilyn Manson or Slipknot, so it's probably somewhere in her brain." Despite the YouTube sensation similarities, this hard rocker is definitely not a sappy Rebecca Black.
Heavy metal enthusiasts are already revering the performance of the young head banger. Juliet remained unaffected about the fuss and continued to play with her toys after "My First Hardcore Song" video reached more than 300 views.
