Steve Jobs' FBI File Becomes $12.16 Paperback on day true story

According to a report by Forbes, the now-public 191-page FBI file on Steve Jobs, Apple's co-founder, will be available as a $12.95 paperback. However, if it's the soft copy you're looking for, you're in luck - a PDF version of the file can be downloaded for free.

Skyhorse, a New York publisher, promises to deliver "The Dark Side of Steve Jobs: An Inside Look at the FBI's Background Check on a Creative Genius," Forbes reported.

"There is a long history of government information selling in book form, from the Nixon transcripts to the 9/11 report. We think that there are enough people interested in Steve Jobs to make this a worthwhile print book and ebook project. Though it's available online, as a paperback book, it is handier to read, to make notes on, and even to give to someone," Skyhorse told Forbes.

The FBI file on Steve Jobs was compiled for an appointed position on the U.S. President's Export Council in 1991. It consists of the FBI's 1991 background investigation of Jobs for that position and a 1985 investigation of a bomb threat against Apple.
