'White Collar's' Matt Bomer Officially Comes Out Gay on day true story
Matt Bomer, star of USA Network's White& Collar, has officially come out gay.
&In accepting the Steve Chase& Humanitarian Awards' New Generation Arts and Activism Award for his& HIV/AIDS advocacy on Saturday, Bomer publicly thanked his partner,& Simon Halls, and their three children.
&The 34-year-old Bomer said, "I'd& really especially like to thank my beautiful family: Simon, Kit,& Walker, Henry. Thank you for teaching me what unconditional love is.& You will always be my proudest accomplishment."
&According to The& Hollywood Reporter, Halls is a publicist with Slate PR.
&Bomer, who plays con-man Neal Caffrey& in White Collar, which was renewed for a fourth season in& August, has previously shied away from discussing his sexual& orientation.
&"I don't care about that at all,"& Bomer said, referring to rumors he's gay. "I'm completely happy& and fulfilled in my personal life."
&Bomer will play the older brother of& openly gay student Blaine Anderson (played by Darren Criss) in an& upcoming episode of the Fox musical-comedy Glee. He will also& play a gay fashion journalist opposite Mark Ruffalo in the upcoming& big screen adaption of The Normal Heart, Larry Kramer's& Tony-winning play about the early days of the AIDS crisis.
