LAKE HAVASU CITY, Ariz. (AP) — The state Board of Regents has set the cost of attending the Arizona State University Lake Havasu City branch at $6,000.
The governing board for state universities approved ASU's proposed tuition during their regular meeting in Tucson Thursday.
The campus in western Arizona opens in August.
The Today's News-Herald (http://telecomadvisors.biz/bit.ly/HmpAXR) reports the Lake Havasu tuition and fees is nearly $4,000 less than new ASU's Arizona students starting at its Tempe campus in the fall.
Freshmen at the state's largest public university pay $9,716 in annual tuition and fees this year.
