The Queue: The Real Ghostbusters on day true story
How does Egon get on the lower side of the helicopter when there are gigantic, rotating blades in the way?
Also, Slimer is awesome.
Jfitz asked:
Are the Mists of Pandaria the same mists that are in the Borean Tundra? If so what are the likelihood of seeing Kvaldir again?
In regard to the mists covering the Kvaldir being the same mists that covered Pandaria, the answer is most likely no. First, we don't really know the full story with the Pandaria mists, including why they left during the Cataclysm. Second, the Kvaldir mists seem to be a thing where the Kvaldir get nature to aid them and produce the mists around them so they can be shrouded from their attacks. But this too isn't all that clear. I think it'd be a long shot to see these two things be connected, other than the fact they're both mists.
Now the other part of your question asks if we'll see the Kvaldir again. While they may not be directly connected to Mists, or even appear in Mists, I don't think their story is necessarily over. They're a great element to add to any maritime story, and I'd wager that we'll see them pop up again someplace.
John asked:
A guildie of mine asked me if monks would be available to those who don't buy Mists of Pandaria. I told them that it would probably be like death knights which needed Wrath of the Lich King to play but then they said that it was probably because death knights were a hero class. I guess what I am asking is will monks require Mists of Pandaria to be playable?
In order to play WoW as a monk, you'll need to purchase and upgrade your WoW license to Mists of Pandaria. If you don't upgrade, the monk class will just be grayed out, much like the death knight class would be if you didn't have Wrath.
Jeff asked:
Has Blizz ever talked about simplifying the macro system? I have been playing for a long time and I don't really fully understand how to use them. I see some online that look like an equation that would be on a chalkboard at NASA. I think a small how to guide along with it may help some people become better players and become a little more comfortable with the more complicated parts of the game.
A small macro guide would be beneficial to the community, for sure. However, I don't think Blizzard will be simplifying the macro system. It's one of those elements of the game that allows a lot of complexity to be added on to a relatively easy-to-learn system. (In other words, it fits in perfectly with Blizzard's "easy-to-learn, difficult to master" paradigm.) A lot of the complexity that people see are programmatic notations that control the way the macro executes, and that in and of itself is inherently messy. Not much they can do.
Zephoramus asked:
Any list on what companions won't be usable in pet battles? For instance TCG, Store bought, Blizzcon, outdated, etc.
There's been no list yet. But I imagine it'd be very very small, given that one of the big draws to the Pet Battle system is being able to bring in your rare (or super-rare) pets and have at it with them.
It was brought up in the comments that humanoid children might be on the list to exclude from Pet Battles for obvious reasons, and I'd agree.
Soeljumner asked:
On Beta I am unable to send BoAs to my panda until they choose a faction. Any chance this will change in release? I mean I'm not opposed to 10 levels without BoAs but I'd like to get the most use out of them considering they weren't "cheap" to acquire.
There are no mailboxes right now in the pandaren starting zone, and I imagine that's intentional to make people have to wait until pandaren pick a faction in order to get the BoAs or other goodies. Otherwise, pandaren could just be used as a free Alliance to Horde transfer toon, and that'd be mildly game-breaking. (Right now, you have to pay a fee, either in real-life money to faction-change or in-game gold to do it via the neutral AH.)
LOLcats ahead
Also, as a final note, I know that I promised everyone a LOLcat Queue the other day, and I still intend to keep my promise. Some things have just came up that are preventing me from spending the time to artfully craft the LOLcats into meaningful kitties. It'll happen ... don't worry ... it'll happen.
