The second quarter of the year is drawing to a close, which means it's time to look at new promotions.

Hilton has announced their summer promotion, which will run from July 1 – September 30 of this year.  Through "Triple Your Trip" you'll have the opportunity to earn up to triple points on every stay.

The promotion is quite simple: you'll earn double points on weeknights (Monday – Thursday) and triple points on weekends (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights).  Remember that only & base points are eligible for bonuses, so you won't get double or triple points on any status points or & "double dip" points.  Since most hotels earn 10 base HHonors points per dollar normally, you should expect 20-30 points per dollar spent through this promotion.

To ensure you get your points, make sure you & register for the promotion in advance and check the list of & non-participating hotels before assuming you'll get the points.

Since I'm a leisure traveler who tends to be away on the weekends more often than weeknights, the prospect of triple points is pretty enticing.  Anyone taking advantage of this deal?
