George Gerasimou, 19, who had to be dragged away by security on Saturday, had stormed off the stage at another X Factor audition two years ago.

The mouthy North Londoner said: "The producers and judges wound me up to make better TV.

"I feel like they taunted me when I was on the stage to get ratings up because they knew how I would react. I strongly believe they wound me up on purpose."

Of Tulisa, he said: "I won't apologise for what I said to her. I don't like her."

But a show spokesman insisted: "George's behaviour was not provoked or encouraged."
