Luke Bryan Kicks Off Farm Tour â Listen to Tonightâs Concert! on day true story
Luke Bryan kicked off his annual Farm Tour last night in Clemson, South Carolina. Sponsored by GAC, the tour will include four more shows across Georgia over the next week, stopping in Athens, Macon, and Valdosta before ending in Carrollton on October 7. Proceeds from the shows will go towards a scholarship for a student from a farming family to attend a local college in each community where the shows are taking place.
Fans who can't make it to one of Luke's Farm Tour stops can still listen live. SiriusXM will broadcasting Luke's concert live from Athens, Georgia tonight, September 30, on SiriusXM's The Highway, channel 59, at 9/8CT. Luke is known for a high energy show and he keeps that in mind when planning his set list.
"When I sit down and plan a set list, it's a situation where I want to talk with my band about it and get their opinion," Luke said. "I mean, the whole organization kinda puts their input in on the set list. I like to kinda come out of the gates firing on all cylinders and keep people going. And then at some point, you've got to kind of bring it down a little bit and play some of your slower songs; songs that can kind of let people catch their breath, and then, obviously, end with the big songs that end with a big bang."
Luke took a break from touring to visit The Ellen DeGeneres Show this week. Not only did he perform, he also showed off his acting skills in the role of Pierre as part of Ellen's new 'soap opera,' she calls 'As The Tide Turns.' Watch the clip below. What do you think? Is a starring role on the silver screen in Luke's future?
