HOUSTON – The first day of November will start chilly in the low 50s, but it won't stay that way, KHOU 11 News Chief Meteorologist Gene Norman said.
"Tuesday, with the help of southeast winds, temperatures should climb pretty nicely close to 80 degrees," Norman said. "Just a hair or two above normal for this time of year."
The extended forecast shows lows with a range from the lower 60s to the upper 40s through the end of the week. Highs will remain in the lower 80s on Wednesday, but after another cold front blows in that night, things will start to feel more like fall.
Lows will drop into the 40s and highs will be in the mid-to-upper 60s Thursday and Friday. Thursday will see about a 30 percent chance of rain.
