YouTube adds Disney, Pixar and DreamWorks movie rentals on day true story
YouTube has become another vehicle for watching Disney movies on demand.
This week, the video website announced that it has added movie rentals of films from Disney, Pixar and DreamWorks. Early additions to the service include Cars 2, the Pirates of the Caribbean films, Alice in Wonderland and Winnie the Pooh.
Rentals run 99 cents to $3.99 for some newer films such as Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides.
YouTube began offering movie rentals earlier this year with films from Lionsgate, Sony, Warner and Universal. The company and Disney announced a partnership earlier this month to begin creating original content including a series based on the character Swampy in the Disney Mobile game Where's My Water?.
