White House party crasher Michaele Salahi seems to be enjoying her public affair with Journey rocker Neal Schon, but it may come at a price.

Tareq Salahi, the onetime reality star's soon-to-be ex-husband, has fired off a legal letter to the couple asking for $17 million as compensation for his public humiliation and suffering, TMZ reports.

Ever since September when Michaele left Tareq, her husband of eight-years, to shack up with Schon, the adulterous pair have paraded their newfound love in a series of highly-publicized photo-ops involving lingerie shopping sprees and makeout sessions.

According to the website, a lawyer for Tareq claims the two have profited off of Tareq's misery and have damaged his career. News of the scandalous affair reportedly helped Journey's ticket sales during the band's recent tour.

Tareq alleges he has suffered from the affair financially as his pending TV deals with Michaele have since been dropped.

While Tareq claims he's been left with $2 million of debt, Michaele appears to be happily moving on with the new man in her life.

TMZ cameras spotted the couple laughing off the legal drama upon their arrival over the weekend in Washington D.C., where Schon will be spending Thanksgiving with Michaele's family.

"That's pretty amazing. I think some people just don't like to work," Schon quipped about Tareq. "I think some people need to get a grip and move on."
