You'll have to install the old sim card or get a new one. Then you'll have to unlock the iPhone and jailbreak it. Type in unlock/jailbreak iPhone 3G S in Google to find out how its done. If you've never done it you may need hands on help. You will not get 3G service with TMobile, it only gets EDGE service or about half the speed it was on AT&T; 3G. Without a data contract on TMobile, you can still get internet using Wi-Fi. Go the Settings, make sure it's on and enter the password for your home router. If you're not at home, then you may have to get the log-in screen by starting a new page in Safari. I'm not sure, but your contacts might be on the sim card.

Long story short, my contracts ending in a few months, which means im getting new phones and in the mean time i got a free iphone 3gs from a friend. My question is. Will it work with Tmobile?
What do i do to transfer my stuff from my blackberry phone/sim to the iphone.
Will it function without internet and whats the worst thing that can happen if i change the phones. i mean i wanna see what would happen if i did this. im getting a new phone either way, im just curious. Tell me everything ineed to know! thank you!
