Second round voting for the Winter X Games 2012 medal design contest has started on day true story

The inaugural Winter X medal design contest is on -- vote for your favorite now!

Entries for our first "Test Your Medal" Winter X medal design contest poured in from all over the country this past month. Voting for the top 16 semi-finalists ended today, and following the first round of voting, our three finalists have been decided: Joe Hodnicki, Steve Winiarz and Gar Hoover.

Which medal design will adorn the necks of your favorite Winter X athletes in Aspen this January? Well, that decision is now up to you.

Check out the lucky three entries here, then submit your vote for best design below. The fan-vote closes at midnight, ET, November 30. On December 1, the final-round of fan votes will end, and the winner will be announced.

The winner will receive his/her own set of Winter X Games medals and recognition as this year's medal designer on the Winter X telecast. The top three designers will also win Winter X Games prize packs with official X Games merchandise.
