LOCK HAVEN -The following programs are open to the public at the Ross Library this month.
- Money 101: Basic Money Management; Tuesday, April 10, 6:30 to 8 p.m.
Wouldn't you like to get the most out of every dollar? Money management is the process of knowing where you are spending your money today and having a well-thought-out plan in place for where you want it to go in the future. Dr. Robert Everett, professor of Finance at LHU, will present four segments on basic money management skills to include Budgeting, Tax planning, Retirement Planning, and Investing. Please RSVP
- Songwriting 101 with Bill Dann; Thursday, April 12, 6 to 8 p.m.
How often have you thought about writing a song or a poem, but thought it was out of your league? Join Bill Dann (singer/songwriter of Thor, the Purple Squirrel from Jersey Shore) to work through the process of funneling your creativity into crafting a song. - Protect Yourself from Business Failure with Steve Poorman; Tuesday, April 24, 6:30 to 8 p.m.
Join Steve Poorman, of Poorman & Group, as he shares his insights gained from experiences as a business owner, CEO, chairman of the board of three manufacturing companies, certified management consultant and author. From his beginnings as a pre-teen in the music business to forming multi-million dollar real estate syndicates, Steve will address such issues as starting, operating, rejuvenating and exiting a business.
