Lindsay Lohan was all smiles on the set of Lifetime's Liz & Dick even as protesters greeted the star with offensive signs.

The 25-year-old actress looked happy and relaxed as she portrayed Elizabeth Taylor in a yellow-collared dress, long fur coat and black heels.

She was seen making her way past a group of protesters in the scene who held signs reading 'slut on a hot tin roof,' in reference to Taylor's 1958 film Cat on a Hot Tin Roof.

While Lindsay appears to be enjoying her latest movie-making effort, according to TMZ, sources close to the Lifetime film claim the producers have major concerns about the actress.

Among those concerns is the fact that the film's insurer could back out.

There are also fears that Lohan's probation may have been violated when she gave conflicting statements to the police after her recent car crash and that she could be involved in another automobile accident.

The fast-living actress seemed untroubled by the fact that the production is currently under investigation by the labor organizations International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees and the actors' union SAG-AFTRA, after multiple reports surfaced of both the cast and crew suffering from exhaustion.

The most notable incident was Lindsay being found unconscious in her hotel room and rushed to the hospital last Friday.

'The IATSE is on top of the situation on the set of Lifetime's Liz & Dick. We have had union representatives on the set since last Friday and will continue to monitor the hours and working conditions there,' union rep Mike Miller said in a statement to the press.

'We take very seriously the safety and well-being of our crews, and are dedicated to seeing that they are protected from hazardous working conditions.'

While she has been exhaustively busy on the set of her the film, she still found time to make light of the situation via Twitter last weekend when she issued a very public 'note to self.'

'Note to self. After working 85hours in 4days, and being up all night shooting, be very aware that you might pass out from exhaustion & 7 paramedics MIGHT show up @ your door,' she tweeted.

'Hopefully theyre cute. Otherwise it would be a real let down.'

Reports have also emerged that Lindsay had been banned from driving while filming the movie by the insurance policy taken out by the production company.
