Target Upgrading Stores to Sell Fresh Food - Local News - Fort Wayne, IN on day true story
& FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) – Target Corp. announces Wednesday that it will be remodeling 90 general merchandise stores across the U.S., two of which are located in Fort Wayne.&
The Target's near Glenbrook mall and off of Stellhorn Road have been selected for the remodel that will bring fresh foods to shoppers by the end of June.
These Target stores will dedicate approximately 10,000 square feet to fresh food choices, including an assortment of fresh produce, fresh packaged meat and pre-packaged baked goods, in addition to dry and frozen offerings.
But the updates won't stop once the grocery aisles are finished, Target will also update other areas of the store to further enhance the shopping experience for guests.
In the beauty aisles, guests will experience a more visual environment, making it easier to browse a mix of everyday essentials and exclusive brands. The home department offers easier navigation with wider aisles and lower product displays. The shoe department is now more comfortable with additional seating and mirrors, and the baby department is easier to shop with broader visibility between baby gear, supplies and apparel.
