Could Hightower fall to the Ravens? on day true story

Update 9:48 p.m.: With the Jets picking North Carolina defensive end Quinton Coples, it creates more of an opportunity for the Ravens to land either Alabama linebackers Courtney Upshaw or Dont'a Hightower. The Ravens also like South Carolina defensive end Melvin Ingram, who had 10 sacks in 2011. Ingram could also play outside linebacker.

Update 9:28 p.m.: Like most teams and fans around the NFL, the Ravens couldn't predict the amount of trades in the top 10 picks, but they at least have been able to match up the teams with the players they chose.

At this point, the Ravens are still sweating the Steelers at No. 24, and they were hoping Memphis DT Dontari Poe would fall to the Steelers and Pittsburgh would take him instead of one of the Alabama linebackers, Dont'a Hightower or Courtney Upshaw. Instead, Kansas City chose Poe but the Ravens are still hopeful they can get one of their top five players.

8:29 p.m.: There has been a lot of speculation the Pittsburgh Steelers would take Alabama inside linebacker Dont'a Hightower, a player the Ravens covet, at No. 24, five spots ahead of the Ravens.

But there are some members of the Ravens front office staff who believe the Steelers might take Memphis defensive tackle Dontari Poe, and move him to nose guard. It will get interesting soon.
