Elisabeth Shue has said she spotted star quality in Jennifer Lawrence long before the Hunger Games made her a household name.

Oscar-nominated actress Elisabeth appears alongside Jennifer, 21, in upcoming horror film House At The End Of The Street.

She explained: "We did our movie before she became 'Jennifer Lawrence', but she had that kind of presence and maturity at a very young age."

House At The End Of The Street, which is due for release later this year, sees a mother and daughter, played by Elisabeth and Jennifer, move into their dream house only to be sucked into the chilling history of the home next door.

Next up for Elisabeth is the sporting drama Of Men And Mavericks, which also stars Scottish hunk Gerard Butler.
