DAYTON - To show thanks for their service, all active duty or retired United States military veterans can ride RTA buses free all day long on Veterans Day.

Any military veteran can enjoy a free ride by showing an active duty or retired military ID to the operator upon boarding.

The free rides will be offered from the first scheduled service time on Nov. 11, until the last scheduled service time in the early morning hours of Nov. 12.
