Vincent Brown Fantasy Recap: Rookie Receiver Narrowly Misses Out On Two TD Game [VIDEO] on day true story

The Oakland Raiders and San Diego Chargers put on an entertaining evening of football during their Thursday Night Football contest on NFL Network. Some of the offensive highlights featured a pair of rookie receivers breaking out for the world to see with huge catches. Denarius Moore was huge for the Raiders, but fellow rookie Vincent Brown had a big day himself. Brown finished the game with five receptions for 97 yards and a touchdown. He also just missed out on a 33-yard score.

Brown has spent much of his rookie season playing special teams and occasionally getting some targets. However, last week against the Green Bay Packers who took a solid step forward due to Malcom Floyd's hip injury. Filling in for Floyd, Brown had 79 yards on four receptions. With Floyd absent again this week, Brown stepped up for the Chargers against the Raiders as Vincent Jackson was virtually nonexistent for San Diego.

Moving forward, it will be interesting to see how much playing time Brown gets once Floyd is healthy. Given his performance the last two weeks, it is hard to keep him off the field. He showed serious skills on Thursday Night Football and has likely earned some additional snaps. While Floyd is out he could be a solid flex option. Once Floyd is back you will need to wait and see how the Chargers play it.

Here is some video of his touchdown catch. That is followed by video of his non-catch, ruled incomplete because he was fighting Lito Sheppard for the ball once Sheppard was already out of bounds.
