Benzema, a 24-year-old Real Madrid striker, scored a stunner on Saturday in his team's 5-1 victory over Osasuna in La Liga. It was so stunning, in fact, that it instantly brought to mind one of football's all-time great goals.

Here's what happened. First, Portuguese superstar Cristiano Ronaldo drove down the left channel and lofted a gorgeous pass across the face of goal, which Benzema volleyed from just outside the six-yard box into the net for Real's opening goal.
