& According to Ohio University's website, a man who is wanted in connection with a bank robbery has been reported near campus. &
Billy J. Caudill is considered armed and dangerous. He's connected with the Wednesday robbery of a People's Bank in Carroll, OH, and has been seen tonight in Athens, OH.&

The university's website states Caudill is 5 feet 7 inches, weighs 195 pounds and has hazel eyes.  Caudill is also believed to be clean shaven and has a shaved head.&

Caudill was last spotted in the area of Union and Shaffer Streets. 

Ohio University alert messages state people are advised to avoid the area, do not walk alone and report all suspicious activity to the Athens police.

The Ohio University Police Department told 13News there are extra poilce officers patrolling the area. The officers are still searching for the suspect, and there is no need for shelter in place at this time.&
