Whoopi Goldberg clears the air about fart incident

Whoopi Goldberg has cleared the air & after appearing to break wind during a recent interview with actress Claire Danes on "The View," & confessing she made the sound because she "zoned out."

Danes appeared on "The View," on which & Goldberg is a co-host, last Friday to promote her show "Homeland," but she & was left stunned when the "Sister Act" star seemed to pass gas.

Goldberg played up the mishap, telling the panel, "Excuse me, I think I just & blew a little frog outta there!"

The video clip went viral over the weekend, but Goldberg has owned up to & faking the noise.

Speaking on "The View" on Tuesday, Goldberg said, "I need to get started with & you all by clearing the air about something that has been lingering in the & headlines all weekend. ... Now, believe it or not, people have lost their minds & about this. I mean, it's crazy. What actually happened is, there is within me a & little kid who just forgets that she's an adult on television, and when her mind & wanders, she just does stuff. ... The truth is ... I made the sound. & ... But I did it because I had zoned out and just wanted to have some fun & and I forgot that I was actually on television doing my job."

OMG people, her name is WHOOPI, as in whoopi cushion, and horror of horrors, she is a COMEDIAN!!! Really if she were a man and did this, people would not be making such a big deal. So get off your high horses and go suck an egg...

Leave Whoopie alone,,,I'm sure everyone who is getting older has passed a little air...it's not fair to make such a big ordeal over something... I'm sure we've just about all done it and can't help it,,,and it would be embarrassing if it happened on National TV...chill out about it..

look, she eats like a pig so what would you expect???!!! And she proves once again that she is just plain full of "it" so it has to escape somehow!! Just admit that you let one go because you had another hollywood actress spewing crap & you could not hold yours in any longer! Come to think of it, that whole panel is full of it..Barbara, trading real journalism for fluff pieces on the Krapdashians, Joy, the biggest hypocrite this side of Hillary Clinton, And don't get me started about perhaps the single dumbest human on TV.. Sherry, holy cow that woman has the sense of a lamp post. At least Elizabeth is fun to look at, but she has traded her soul for a payecheck!

Yet another talentless "star", does not know how to dress, can't hold her wind and gets paid millions to spew out her biased, self serving comments on national TV. Disgusting!
